🚋✨ Christmas Season on Vintage Tram Line 42

More trams, shorter intervals & festive illuminated vehicles!
From 29 November 2025 to 4 January 2026, Vintage Tram Line 42 will run in an enhanced Christmas timetable to make your holiday visit to Prague even more enjoyable.

🎄 What’s new?

• More frequent service — trams run every 30 minutes (instead of 40).
• Daily operation from 9:30 to 18:15.
• Three tram sets in service, including beautifully decorated historic vehicles.
• Enjoy Prague in a magical Christmas atmosphere with trams lit up with festive lights.

• 24 December: 9:30 – 15:15
• 25 December: 11:00 – 18:15
• 1 January: 11:00 – 18:15

✨ Advent Cruises River Boats Prague

Take a one-hour cruise through wintery Prague aboard the historic ship Maria Croon. Enjoy unique views, the scent of carols, traditional Christmas pastries and a warming hot drink. With the Prague Visitor Pass your cruise is free, including pastries and a hot drink.

Mucha Museum – Coming Soon to the Prague Visitor Pass

The Mucha family and the Mucha Foundation welcome you to the world’s only official Mucha Museum, showcasing the works of Alphonse Mucha (1860–1939), one of the most internationally renowned Czech artists.

I. P. Pavlova – Muzeum
Due to the construction of a new tram line, tram service will be suspended between I. P. Pavlova and Muzeum from June 14, 2025, until March 2027. This measure will affect tram lines 11 and 13. All information can be found here.    

AE (Airport Express)
From 30. 11. to 22. 12. the Airport Express bus will operate a night service every 60 minutes. For this night operation, temporary Náměstí republiky stops will be introduced in Na Poříčí street (at the current tram stops). In the direction of the city centre the line does not stop in the Terminál 2 stop.

Kristína Mésároš: PRODIGY

(Galerie Villa Pellé, 28. 11. 2025 - 11. 1. 2026)
For the first time in Prague, Slovak painter Kristína Mésároš (b. 1981) with Hungarian roots presents her work. She is considered one of the most prominent Slovak figurative painters, with a style closely related to magical realism. Her work explores the presence of humans at the intersection of passing time and places her art within the broader context of Central European painting.

Botanical Garden – New Evening Tours for the Winter Season

Looking for a unique experience in wintertime Prague? From 28 November 2025 to 15 February 2026, you can discover the Prague Botanical Garden after sunset thanks to the Crystal Garden exhibition.

What to expect?
In the early evening, the garden transforms into a magical setting filled with light and contemporary art. Monumental glass installations are accompanied by music performed by the Prague Philharmonic, creative light design, and digital projections by students of UMPRUM. Invitation to the Exhibition: Dagmar Hochová

(House of Photography, 7. 10. 2025 – 4. 1. 2026)
Discover the work of renowned Czech photographer Dagmar Hochová (1926–2012). The exhibition presents not only her famous portraits of children but also photographs of cultural and political figures, behind-the-scenes views of parliamentary democracy, and life under socialism. Planetarium Prague – Coming Soon to Prague Visitor Pass

Planetarium Prague has reopened to the public after an extensive renovation. Visitors can now enjoy a brand-new LED dome and modernized spaces equipped with cutting-edge technology.

Entry with the Prague Visitor Pass is not yet available.
The attraction is expected to be included in the pass from autumn 2025.

Villa Winternitz

Winternitz's villa is one of the exceptional buildings of interwar architecture in the Czech Republic, and it is the last villa of Adolf Loos, which was built during his lifetime. Prague lawyer JUDr. Josef Winternitz had the villa built in 1932 for himself and his family. Due to their Jewish origin, they were confiscated by the Nazi authorities in 1941, and Josef Winternitz and his son Peter were murdered in the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz.

Pinkas Synagogue

The operation at the Pinkas Synagogue is temporarily limited due to technical reasons. However, the synagogue remains open for visits. Thank you for your understanding.

The Jewish Town of Prague is open every day except Saturdays and Jewish holidays. An overview of Jewish holidays can be found in the Downloads documents.

We present you a unique view, which consists of live broadcasts of 8 webcams. The basis is a camera located on the Petrin Tower, which at regular intervals creates a panoramic view of Prague, provides weather information and offers an interactive menu with places that you can visit with the official tourist card Prague Visitor Pass.
