The exhibition focuses on the theme of spending free time in the context of a baroque palace, which, at the time of its construction, functioned as a summer palace, a summer residence whose lounges, gardens, hunting grounds and vineyards offered its owners a variety of opportunities to enjoy leisure time. The contrasts that the exhibition would like to highlight are due to the nature of the structure of Troja Château and its gardens.

Petr Pavlík: The Pilgrimess Returns Home

(Clam-Gallas Palace, 25. 3. – 11. 5.)
The exhibition is located in the Clam-Gallas Palace – one of the most important architectural monuments of Prague. It is a masterpiece of Prague Baroque architecture and is a great example of high Baroque living and the way of life of the aristocracy of that time.

You can see several paintings or cycles of paintings depicting the chaos that has engulfed our planet. And yet, although he knows that the planet is in considerable danger and that the balance of the world is more fragile today than it has been in a long time, his work still possess a sense of hope.

Karíma Al-Mukhtarová: Through the body

The exhibition will present the artist's current work, which reflects her experiences from her residency at Ville Karo in Benin in 2024. The exhibited works are mainly new works created especially for the exhibition at Ville Pellé. In them, Karíma develops her own techniques and enriches them with new methods and strategies that she learned in Africa. This constructive dialogue will allow the viewer to learn about different cultural approaches. The emphasis is on carpets and objects of a handicraft nature that connect the material and symbolic levels.
