Did you know that...

The new cultural space in the heart of historic Prague was created by the reconstruction of the former Zenger substation building in Klárov. The Kunsthalle Praha creates a modern gallery environment for short-term art exhibitions and its program presents domestic and international art, from the 20th century to the present day. It offers visitors three extensive gallery spaces, a design shop and a cafe with a historic terrace overlooking Petřín and Prague Castle. Apart from exhibitions, it prepares a wide range of exhibition and educational projects, cultural events and social activities. The Foundation for the Development of Architecture and Construction awarded the building the Building of the Year 2022 award.

The Kunsthalle Praha was founded by The Pudil Family Foundation as a non-state and non-profit platform for connecting the Czech and foreign art scene. For many years, it has been building a collection that focuses on modern, post-war and contemporary art.
