Did you know that...

Galerie Villa Pellé is situated in a very interesting urban area, characterised by historic representative villas. It was built at the end of the 19th Century in the Neo-Renaissance style and is surrounded by a garden in the form of an English park. The whole building is particularly impressive for its exterior sgraffito and stucco decorations, as well as its interior concept, which is currently adapted for the needs of the gallery exhibition space with temporary exhibitions of contemporary art that are regularly held here.

A particularity of the gallery’s concept is the emphasis on presenting the free and applied works of important Czech and foreign authors, exceptional personalities of Czech and international illustration. It maps not only the drawings and graphic art of the young and middle generation, but also seeks to give space to unusual personalities of contemporary art and to present well-known artists from an unconventional point of view.
