The journey up Petřín Hill is an experience in itself. The new funicular, designed by Czech studio Anna Marešová Designers and awarded the prestigious German Design Award 2025, offers spectacular views of Prague through its panoramic windows and glass roof. Each of the two modern cars can accommodate up to 120 passengers and features a playful surprise. As the cars pass each other along the route, they wink at one another and blush. The funicular takes you comfortably from Újezd to the top of Petřín Hill, where you can visit the Petřín Lookout Tower, explore the Mirror Maze or stroll through the romantic gardens. On the way up, the funicular also stops at Nebozízek. Please note that this stop is not served on the way down.
