Did you know that...
The Prague House of Photography is interesting not only for its architecture, but also for its internal layout, which includes, among other things, a gallery, its own archive, libraries and lecture halls. The space is currently used to present mainly Czech as well as world photography.
The origins of the Prague House of Photography date back to 1989, when Aktiv Free Photography was founded - an association of photographers whose goal was to find suitable spaces for exhibitions. In the early 1990s, the Prague House of Photography Foundation was established, and in 2005 a public benefit company of the same name.

TIP: While you’re in the area, don’t miss the nearby Stínadla neighbourhood, a source of constant inspiration for author Jaroslav Foglar.
