Did you know that...

The Spanish Synagogue from 1868 was built in the Neo-Renaissance style. Its richly decorated interiors in the so-called Moorish style rank it among the most beautiful buildings in the Jewish Town. In 2020 a new, Judaica-rich and interactive exhibition titled ‘Jews in the Czech Lands in the 19th and 20th Centuries’ was been installed in the synagogue, bringing to light the difficulties to which Czech Jews were exposed during the communist regime, among other things. The exhibition won a special award in the national museum competition Gloria musaealis 2020. In the evenings, you can attend concerts at the synagogue.

You can get a one-time ticket to all the buildings of the Prague Jewish Town at the ticket office of the Information and Reservation Centre or at the Pinkas Synagogue, Klaus Synagogue, Maisel Synagogue (Sundays only), Spanish Synagogue and High Synagogue. Don’t forget to keep your ticket!
