Did you know that...
Rekola Bikesharing is a Czech bike-sharing project launched in 2013 with the goal of making urban mobility accessible to the general public. It is currently the most widespread service in Prague, where it has become an integral part of daily transportation. The pink bikes are available 24/7, and users can easily find and unlock them through the mobile app.
How to rent a bike?
Register for free in the Rekola app and add a payment card (or use Apple/Google Pay). A verification charge of 1 CZK will be applied.
1. Unlock the bike in the Rekola app
In the “Redeem voucher” section, enter the code (Prague Visitor Pass card number or voucher). The “Two rides with Prague Visitor Pass” package will automatically activate under “Subscriptions & Benefits.”
2. Ride wherever you need to go
Hop on and start your ride. When finished, return the bike to a designated station marked with a “P” in the app. After using the free minutes, further rides will be charged according to Rekola Bikesharing’s current price list.
3. End your ride by locking the bike
Close the lock on the rear wheel using the lever. This will automatically end your ride, and you will receive a notification confirming the successful return.
