Did you know that...

Lobkowicz Palace is located in the grounds of Prague Castle. It dates back to the 16th Century and is exceptional especially for the rich stucco and frescoes on its exteriors and interiors. The terrace is also unique, offering an amazing panoramic view of Prague. The palace includes a museum that houses the most valuable exhibits of the Lobkowicz art collections, which are among the largest privately owned collections in Europe.

Among the rarest exhibits included in the permanent exhibition are world-famous paintings by Bruegel, Canaletto, Velázquez and others. The exhibitions also contain a fascinating collection of ceramics, weapons and armour, and the newly renovated music rooms feature original scores of works by many world composers, including Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven. Visitors will be guided through the exhibition by a unique audio guide narrated by members of the Lobkowicz family themselves.
