Guides&Tours – Food tour

You can use the services of our official guides, who will introduce you to Prague during walking tours. Visit our current walking Food tour (EN), the capacity of each group is 12 persons.

Join us for a gourmet walk through the heart of Czech cuisine — authentic, comforting, and rich with nostalgia. This delicious journey includes four tasting stops that will show you why food holds such a special place in the hearts of Czechs. We’ll begin at a traditional butcher shop, where you’ll sample iconic delicacies like utopence, pickled Hermelín cheese, and the beloved “smažák” — a deep-fried cheese sandwich that’s a true Czech guilty pleasure. Next, we’ll dive into the world of chlebíčky — open-faced sandwiches that are the crown jewel of Czech cold cuisine and a must at every gathering. To finish, we’ll indulge in a classic Czech dessert and raise a glass of fine Moravian wine to toast the experience. Come discover Prague from a different perspective — through its flavors, aromas, and the stories they carry.

PLEASE NOTE:
Due to the nature of the tastings, this tour is not suitable for vegetarians, as traditional Czech cuisine is largely centered around meat dishes. If you have any food allergies, please let us know in advance so we can do our best to accommodate you. Please also note that participants under the age of 18 will not be served alcoholic beverages during the tour.

If you book at least 2 hours in advance, we guarantee you a free place. You can find a detailed schedule of walks in the Downloads section. Please note that the reservation is binding. The reservation must be canceled (always at least 24 hours before the planned tour) otherwise it will not be possible to retake the tour. Thank you for not blocking the place for other visitors.
